# Add a Hotel AI Chatbot to a Non-WordPress Website

> Use the website embed script

For websites that permit custom JavaScript, use the script provided in **Embed Code**.

## Installation

1. Sign in to Lobbychat and open the correct hotel's chatbot.
2. Select **Embed Code**.
3. Copy the complete script shown in the embed section.
4. Add it to your website's HTML **before the closing `</body>` tag**.
5. Publish your website changes.
6. Open the site in a browser and confirm the chatbot appears.

Your website must permit loading scripts from `https://app.lobbychat.ai`. The embed screen notes that the chatbot appears only after training data is available.

## Troubleshooting

### The script is installed but no widget appears

Check that the script is complete, that your website allows the Lobbychat script domain, that training has been completed, that **Chatbot Status** is **On**, and that visibility rules permit the page.

### Can I paste the code into any website builder?

Only if the builder or hosting platform permits custom script installation. Follow your website provider's instructions for adding scripts near the end of the page body.

### Can I use a script copied from another hotel?

No. Always use the embed code for the correct chatbot.
