# Install the Lobbychat AI Chatbot on WordPress

> Use the Lobbychat WordPress plugin and Widget ID

Lobbychat offers a WordPress plugin for embedding your hotel's chatbot.

## Installation

1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to **Plugins → Add New**.
2. Search for **AI Hotel Chatbot by Lobbychat**.
3. Install and activate the plugin.
4. In the Lobbychat dashboard, open **Embed Code**.
5. Find the **WordPress Plugin — Widget ID** section.
6. Copy your hotel's unique Widget ID.
7. Paste the ID into the Lobbychat plugin settings in WordPress and save.
8. Visit your website and check that the chat widget appears.

**Keep your hotel's Widget ID associated with the correct property.** Do not reuse another hotel's ID.

## Troubleshooting

### The chatbot does not appear

Confirm the plugin is active, the Widget ID was saved correctly, the chatbot is **On**, visibility rules allow the page, and training has been completed. Clear website caches if applicable.

### Can I use the WordPress plugin without copying the full script?

Yes. The plugin setup uses the Widget ID provided on the **Embed Code** page.

### Where do I get the Widget ID?

Open **Embed Code** for the correct chatbot in your Lobbychat dashboard.
