# Control Where Your Hotel Chatbot Appears

> Turn the widget on or off and configure page rules

Open **Settings → Visibility** to control whether and where the chatbot appears on your website.

## Chatbot status

Use **Chatbot Status** to turn the chatbot **On** or **Off**. Verify the status before troubleshooting a missing widget.

## Page rules

The visibility settings offer two rule modes:

* **Show only on:** Show the chatbot on pages matching your rules.
* **Hide on:** Hide the chatbot on pages matching your rules.

The interface states that **no rules means the chatbot shows on all pages**, subject to its status and installation.

## Add a rule

1. Select **Settings → Visibility**.
2. Choose **Show only on** or **Hide on**.
3. Select **Add Another Rule**.
4. Enter a page path or matching condition using the available controls.
5. Save with **Save Changes**.
6. Visit the affected pages to confirm the result.

Examples shown in the interface include paths beginning with `/booking`, paths containing `terms`, and an exact match for `/contact`.

## FAQ

### Can I hide the chatbot on the booking engine?

If the relevant page is within the site where your widget is installed and matches a supported rule, you can configure a hide rule. Check the actual booking page afterward; third-party booking engines may have separate installation restrictions.

### Why is the chatbot missing everywhere?

Check **Chatbot Status**, visibility rules, embed installation, and whether training has been completed.
