Lobbychat offers a WordPress plugin for embedding your hotel’s chatbot.

Installation

  1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New.
  2. Search for AI Hotel Chatbot by Lobbychat.
  3. Install and activate the plugin.
  4. In the Lobbychat dashboard, open Embed Code.
  5. Find the WordPress Plugin — Widget ID section.
  6. Copy your hotel’s unique Widget ID.
  7. Paste the ID into the Lobbychat plugin settings in WordPress and save.
  8. Visit your website and check that the chat widget appears.
Keep your hotel’s Widget ID associated with the correct property. Do not reuse another hotel’s ID.

Troubleshooting

The chatbot does not appear

Confirm the plugin is active, the Widget ID was saved correctly, the chatbot is On, visibility rules allow the page, and training has been completed. Clear website caches if applicable.

Can I use the WordPress plugin without copying the full script?

Yes. The plugin setup uses the Widget ID provided on the Embed Code page.

Open Embed Code for the correct chatbot in your Lobbychat dashboard.
